With this photo, I straightened it, and also enhanced the colours, and turned that background black and white. I wanted the back ground to be black and white, as I thought that it would stand out more, and because the wall and guitar was the same colour, by removing the coloring from the wall, it meant that the guitar stood out more
With this image, I wanted the background to look dingy and dark. Firstly to make Olli look more eye-catching, but also because it fir with my genre. I also cut it down because i needed it to be portrait, but also because the other items in the room where distracting, and took off the focus off Olli.
Again, with this photo, I wanted to remove distracting objects, and wanted to have the speakers, editing area etc visible. I made this image look darker and wanted to not make it not look so bright and colorful. I also made on of the posters darker, as I wanted to put on text on top of this, as it would separate the main story from the others, but I wanted it also fit in with the continuity of that wall. By darkening the edges, it meant that the writing stood out more, and looked more intense.
I saved these over the original images. But i edited these images to be dramatic and also quite mysterious. They where only small images, but I thought that they needed to be edited to a high quality for the best finish. They also needed to attract detail to the story they are advertising. The images where grainy, so I couldn't use them for my main images.
